“You Never Wash Up After Yourself (A History Of Anglo-Irish Relations From 3000BC-Brexit)” will be in a pop up gallery for the month of October 2017. Free tea, coffee and other refreshments will be served at all times. The gallery will be open on

Fridays and Saturdays during October from 11am – 5pm.

It will be at 2 The Spot, Osmaston Rd, Derby DE1 2JA (next to the new dessert/ice cream parlour).

There is a 2″ step into the venue and a gender neutral accessible toilet on the ground floor.

Produced as part of my final term on the Foundation Diploma at Central College, Nottingham, I graduated with an overall Distinction. I will be progressing to a Foundation Degree in September 2017 and have recently had an illustration included in the anthology “On Anxiety” from 3 of Cups Press, and exhibited in the art show at Titancon Belfast.

There is a programme of events taking place over the month, I hope to add more soon.

Firstly a day of indoor busking (please be generous to the artists!) during the daytime. The artists performing are Phil Matthews aka The Village, Abii Musique and Titans of Fantasy.

Derby Folk Festival is the same weekend, so come along if you’re a fan.

The Facebook Event for Saturday, 7th October is here.

At the end of the month, a community arts project run by the wonderful Kerry Rush will take up residence. Come along and express yourself through collage or whatever direction you choose – all for free (donations towards materials are gratefully received).

In the late afternoon, a Halloween party will take place where the mound will be dismantled, and you are welcome to take away a mug for free. Do dress up if you’d like to!

That event can be found here.

I am looking forward to meeting my fellow East Midlands residents, music & art fans and curious passers by!

Keep an eye on this page for updates and further events.
